Posted at 09:23 AM on February 17, 2009 in Personal Finance, General as a favorite post.
Hi All,
Expense Organizer is by far the main reason people visit this site (100 downloads in a week) and I am not going to dissappoint them. The next version with some nice improvements is ready. With the current economic slowdown it makes more sense to know where your money is being spent now more than ever. You can Download it Here
[update] Version 3.2 is up with changes reported by technofriends.in

Excel Sheets work on
Posted at 02:29 PM on January 12, 2007 in Personal Finance.
Sorry guys. I am getting a lot of mails asking for the update on the income tax calculator with regards to the fixed deposit having been part of the 80C tax exemptions. I really never knew so many would be accessing this site and making use of the tax calculator. Only after going through the hit logs I understood the importance of having to update the so popular tool !!
Anyway the good news is that I will find some spare time during weekends and will continue my work on consolidating the excel sheets (Expense organizer, Tax calculator and Handy calculators) and coming with an update on all of them including a new excel sheet to maintain your stock/mutual fund portfolio.
Btw, A Happy new year to all of you !!

Expense Organizer Updated !!!
Posted at 02:02 PM on June 15, 2006 in Personal Finance as a favorite post.
I have updated the very popular expense organizer and taken it to Version 2. Please report your bugs/queries as comments to this post. I will highlight the major changes done
1. Made it viewable in one shot (without having to scroll) on a screen resolution of atleast 1024 x 768
2. Added a separate settings page so that users can customize their expense and income items as per their need.
3. Separated Graphs and reports. Each now has a separate page and many new reports and graphs have been added.
4. And finally I have made the password public so that anyone wishing to alter the design or further customize it can do so easily. The password is skorg for all the pages
